Dedham Town Hall & Senior Center
Dedham, MA
The Dedham Town Hall & Senior Center is an extensive renovation and adaptive re-use of the existing Ames School Building, built in 1897. The Ames Schoolhouse, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a 118 year old building that was formerly adapted to house commercial offices in the 1980s. In 2015, ownership of the building returned to the town with the intention of adjusting the historic structure to house the Town Offices. The building will house offices such as the Town Administrator, Building Department, Asessors Office, etc, as a shared home with the Dedham Counsel on Aging/Senior Center. The project is currently under construction and will be complete in early 2020.
